For Air Europa flights, online check-in can be done from 48 hours up to 2 hours before the flight. It is also possible to check in at the Rome airport: check-in desks close 45 minutes before the flight for domestic flights and 60 minutes before for intercontinental flights.

Informations

The airline Air Europa was born in 1986 and is today the third largest in Spain, after Iberia and Vueling, by number of passengers.

Since 1993 it has started offering domestic routes thus breaking Iberia’s monopoly. Its main office is located on the island of Mallorca, while its operational base is at the Madrid-Barajas airport.

Air Europa, which was the first Spanish private airline to operate domestic scheduled flights (as well as charter flights which later became its core business), offers 675 routes in almost all EU states.

On short and medium-haul flights, hand baggage allowed cannot exceed 9 kg for Economy class passengers and 14 kg for Business class passengers.

On long-haul flights, hand baggage must not weigh more than 10 kg in Economy class, while in Business class passengers can carry two bags with a total weight of 18 kg.
